True connection beats tactics.
I’m so grateful to God that most of the spontaneous decisions I’ve made have turned out well.
And I’m also grateful to God for how, even though I am mostly indoors, I still get to low-key witness little human dramas, either online or offline.
It’s so gold to be able to learn from others’ mistakes.

When I decided to fully embrace entrepreneurship, without much prior knowledge about marketing, it felt like all you needed to do to land a client was to show up at the “right places” and dump your well-worded offer on people.
Good sales copy is useful, but it’s not enough to make people go from being absolutely clueless about what you do to becoming a client.
Not even if you had access to thousands of birds to spread the word..
The thing about sales copy is, it’s for selling.
And your ideal clients are people with lives, unique realities, and are most likely not always engaging online to buy.
So unless you’re operating an e-commerce store and are curating product descriptions, it’s ineffective to keep writing content as if you’re selling.
After knowing about your business for the first time, it’s very likely that people will need some time before deciding to pay you.
The best thing to do during that time is to show them your offer is worth their money. Not make more promises.
Words are very powerful, and when you get the opportunity to use them, remember it’s not always about you.
