Competition Can Be Scary, But You Can Ignore It – Coaching Business Journey

Last weekend, I saw a baby lizard running for its dear life, as another baby bird tried hunting it down.

Firstly, I hadn’t known birds eat lizards.

Secondly, it was a funny and yet disturbing scene to watch. I wasn’t sure if I should rescue the lizard or not.

But it escaped though. So that’s good news?

Sometimes the idea of having competitors may seem intimidating or discouraging.

But the thing is, in life, competition is very normal.

It’s not limited to humans, and even animals compete at some point to survive.

Unlike animal competition that could mean life or death, human competition rarely does. And that’s definitely good news.

Which means you could compete creatively without pressure, or not at all..

Personally, I choose the latter because it comes with more peace of mind.

And honestly, I don’t want to be involved in anything that feels like hustling again.

In my opinion, I think it’s better to spend the time intended for competing to do something else differently, so well that it keeps attracting the people it’s made for.

You don’t need to try to be better than everyone else, you could just be enough for the right people.
