I love watching the stars a lot.
I found out that they’re actually still there in the daytime, but become more visible at night.
Recently I was wondering, “Would you still show up if no one applauded?”
I guess so. I mean, I’ve solo built different projects and never really talked to anyone about it.
I’m still maintaining some of them, and not really talking about it now either.
I wonder why lately, it’s almost been feeling as if I needed someone to tell me to keep going.
Like I needed more validation that this is happening, even though it obviously is.
Before now, I’ve been learning detachment and I think it’d be very useful here.
Building a business, a sustainable business, is a really long journey.
One that I anticipate is filled with more interesting surprises. And I don’t think it’d be healthy to feel affected by what’s going on.
I guess it’s somewhat understandable to feel attached at the early stage. You’re unsure about so many things, and you want to know if you’re doing things right.
But I think it’s really important to always remember that it’s fine to make mistakes. It’s fine to learn and readjust.
That’s the only way to know what works.
This is a journey, and what matters the most is to keep moving. Even when it’s quiet.
Quiet progress is still progress, regardless.
