A lot has been happening in the past weeks, and I’m just grateful I was able to create a routine for showing up for my business prior to that.
I’m not a huge fan of routines, but I’ve come to realize they help keep things simpler.
I knew having a sustainable business is important, but the past weeks made me realize it’s more important than I thought.
I had another mini health challenge which made it clearer that I need to be able to keep on earning, regardless of challenges. And if my business solely depends on me, or my ability to keep showing up, it’s slightly concerning.
Bills don’t care if you’re sick.
..
Although routines have been very helpful to keep things running smoothly, I’ve been feeling a little bit disconnected from the deeper part of my business.
But maybe that will get better over time. Especially after all the side quests are over.
..
Unrelated: I changed my look haha. I’m still trying to get more comfortable with the new look, but it’s really interesting to learn that sometimes, the perception of reality is just as important as the reality.
And even though I don’t want to change anything about myself just to fit in, there are some “temporary” sacrifices that are worth making to move forward.
(..as long as you don’t forget who you are, and why you’re here.)
